1.EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
An Emergency Department (ED), also commonly referred to as an Emergency Room (ER), is a specialized department within a hospital or medical facility that is dedicated to providing immediate medical care and treatment to patients with acute and potentially life-threatening medical conditions, injuries, or emergencies. The primary purpose of an Emergency Department is to assess, stabilize, and initiate treatment for patients in urgent need of medical attention.
2.INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialized medical department within a hospital or healthcare facility that provides highly specialized care to patients with severe, life-threatening, or critical medical conditions. ICUs are staffed by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who have advanced training and experience in managing critically ill patients. The primary goal of an ICU is to provide intensive monitoring, treatment, and support to stabilize and improve the health of patients facing serious medical challenges.
